Comic Book Resources Clears Up Miscommunication Regarding Bruce Campbell And 'The Shadow'
A few days ago we reported a story pertaining to Comic Book Resources referring to Bruce as "too old" to play The Shadow. Comic Book Resources has cleared up the miscommunication today and had the following to say:
"It seems that a certain really cool catch-all blog about Bruce Campbell I regularly peruse thinks I may have slighted the Chin when I said he was probably too old to play a certain comics character. I in no way intended disrespect. Bruce Campbell is my favorite actor and a god among men. If he were to star in the film, I’d be the first in line. The studio, however, may think otherwise. Alas, alack. I promise to only use my internet powers for good from now on.)"
I think everyone knows that if Bruce's name pops up anywhere on the internet, I will be posting about it. When the words "too old" and "Bruce Campbell" come together, it strikes fear into many Bruce fans knowing that their hero is only mortal. Comic Book Resources has always been a positive contributor of all things Bruce and they just did a great interview with Mark Verheiden the other day which gave us a little news on My Name Is Bruce. Note: One more story for today.
