'Burn Notice' Scheduled For 13 Episodes This Season, Production Begins In April
Bruce's new TV show Burn Notice, in which he plays a supporting but regular role, is scheduled for a 13 episode season along with its Pilot episode, which has already been shot. According to the Hollywood Reporter, production on episodes after the Pilot will begin at the end of April. Here is an excerpt from The Hollywood Reporter which was had an article today on TV shows that were currently shooting in Miami:
"Until then, there is good news for the city and the state: USA Network's "Burn Notice," about a spy recently fired by the CIA who uses his special ops training to help others in trouble, will shoot its entire 13-episode order in Florida, where it shot its pilot. Production is scheduled to start at the end of April and run through June."
So Bruce has got a lot of time on his to do post production on My Name Is Bruce. I know Bruce said that he would never do another TV show but I think the time commitment is a lot more appealing for this show than something like Brisco or Jack of all Trades. Bruce said that he is a family man these days and that his past shows were "good for the pocket book but bad for the family". For Burn Notice, Bruce only has to shoot 13 episodes in a supporting role, as oppose to a starring role, and he gets to shoot in Miami, as oppose to New Zealand for Jack of all Trades.
